freeeeeeeedom!

Yup yup yup!! And I got 3 freakin months of it too ;Pp

Dandooona is through with 5th year and is now officially a 6th year medical student.

That means its 5 down, and two more to go =D


I woke up this morning and all I thought to myself was WHOA! Where did this year go? To say that time flew by would be the understatement of the millennium. Wallah a7es it was just yesterday that I was starting the year and wondering what it will throw in my way.

And a lot of things got thrown in my way mind you ;)


What have I learnt this year?

* After 5 years of being a medical student, you tend to run out of memory storage.

* Fifth year kicks ass ;Pp

* You can study only one system and skip 9 and still manage to pass the year, with variable amounts of tashyeer and…well, mom’s prayers ;Pp

* You realize towards the end of the year that you were never really studying for the exams all this time, despite what you were thinking. You realize you crave the knowledge. You realize you were doing it all this time cz you wanted to, not cz you had to. You realize that you actually love what you’re doing. It’s a beautiful realization =)

* You know your doing the right thing if you feel completely shitty afterwards.

* I love blogging, yet I missed my blog’s first birthday. I’m such an awful person. I plan something creative to make up for it though, so stay tuned ;)

* I don’t like people. They suck.

* Patients can be the nicest people. They can also be such bitches if they wanted to.

* Turns out I’m a patient person. Who the hell thought that was possible?

* I hate surgery. But apparently, I have what it takes to be a good surgeon. From the hand skills to looking awfully good in scrubs ;Pp

* I need a blackberry…no matter how much I try to deny it.

* I love my bestie <3>

* One day, I’m going to die in a car crash. This day is very likely to be very soon. someone forced me to take that one off the list ;Pp

* I’m a lot calmer this year than I was before. I think life is starting to take its toll on me.

* Apparently, I’m really good with needles. Eedy 5afeefa methl ma ygoloon.

* Time flies…its been five years already. Can you believe it? it feels like it was just yesterday that I graduated from high school. I bet in a couple of years time, I’ll be sitting here, writing another post about how I didn’t realize I lost seven years in my life to medical school.

* Oh, and did I mention that I found out I’m a patient person?
